Why did I receive a Benefits Debit Card?

The benefits debit card from Health Equity is for participants enrolled in the Health Reimbursement Account Plan (HRA), the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with Health Savings Account (HSA), as well as those participants enrolled in a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA). The card is used to receive earned wellness funds, for those who complete wellness incentives through Rally. Participants will receive only one card, which may include different accounts, depending on your benefits elections.

I am enrolled in the HRA plan, and have not enrolled in a FSA. Why did receive a Benefits Debit Card?

HRA plan participants received a benefits debit card. The card will be used access funds earned by completing wellness activities through WellRight Rewards. Funds may then be used to pay for out of pocket medical and pharmacy expenses for yourself and covered family members. Funds do not roll over from year to year and expire at midnight December 31, 2023.

I am enrolled in the HDHP with HSA. However, I have not contributed to the HSA.  Do I need this card?

Yes. If you are enrolled in the HDHP with HSA, but have decided not to contribute to the HSA, you still received a debit card. The card will be used access funds earned by completing wellness activities through WellRight Rewards. Funds may then be used to pay for out of pocket medical and pharmacy expenses for yourself and covered family members. If you are enrolled in this plan type, funds will roll over from year to year.

I am enrolled in the HRA plan, and in a Healthcare FSA. Should I have received two cards?

No. You only received one card, which  will include both FSA contributions and funds earned through Rally Rewards. FSA contributions may be used through March 15, 2024.  HRA Health Plan Rally funds expire at midnight December 31, 2023 and do not roll over from year to year.

I am enrolled in the HRA plan, and also in a Dependent Care FSA. Should I have received two cards?

No, you do not need more than one card. You only received one card, which can only be used for the HRA earned through WellRight Rewards. FSA contributions for Dependent Care accessed through the HealthEquity . HRA Health Plan WellRight funds expire at midnight on December 31, 2023 but up to $500 will rollover to the next year.

I am enrolled in the HDHP with HSA where I have elected to make contributions to the HSA and I also enrolled in a Dependent Care FSA. Should I have received multiple cards?

No, you do not need more than one card. You only received one card, which will include HSA contributions, Healthcare FSA contributions as well as HRA funds earned through WellRight Rewards. FSA contributions for Dependent Care cannot be accessed through the debit card.

How do I access funds earned by completing wellness activities through WellRight Rewards?

Funds earned through WellRight Rewards will be deposited on the Health Equity Benefits Debit Card.
