Effective this November, the Office of Human Resources will implement a redesigned hiring process, which will feature enhanced recruitment services and improved system functionality. To support this change, the Talent Acquisition team is offering training on the new hiring processes and updated system.
And that’s not all we are changing. We are excited to unveil the redesigned iRecruitment system, which we are renaming New Orleans’ style to “iReKREWT.” What’s down the road?

Training

If you are currently recruiting staff positions, or will have staff openings before winter break, these sessions are for you. The Talent Acquisition Krewe will be on deck to provide training on the redesigned process and “iReKREWT” system. Register today!

For those who do not currently have openings but will in 2019, regular training sessions will be available throughout next year and resources will be available online.

If you hire faculty, librarians, or post docs, you will receive a separate announcement and invitation to a training session specifically for these positions in partnership with the Provost’s Office.

Transactions on Hold

Just as a parade may take a pause, hiring transactions in iRecruitment will need to be on hold during the last week of October to prepare for the transition to iReKREWT in order to go live in November. During this time, no new vacancies or offers may be submitted. However, departments may continue to review and interview applicants.
