Jan Fennell recently joined Tulane. She serves as an investigator for the Office of Institutional Equity. Jan handles complaints of harassment and discrimination and works to advance the university’s commitment to fair and equitable treatment of all members of the Tulane community in employment and education.
Jan comes to Tulane after spending several years as a staff attorney in the Orleans Public Defender’s office. In addition to her experience as a litigator, she worked a staff investigator at the Public Defender Service in Washington DC for three years. Jan has her Juris Doctorate degree from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, playing tennis and cuddling with her dog Domino.
