Michelle Fields joined Office of Human Resources and Institutional Equity in November of 2017. She currently serves as an Administrative Program Coordinator. In her current roll, she is responsible for affirmative action reporting, compliance, university-wide annual sexual harassment online training program; coordination of office education and training programs, maintaining and developing new website content.
Before joining Tulane University, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for the California Hospital Association (CHA) in Sacramento, California. In her role at CHA, she supported the lobbyist team, bill tracked, drafted support and opposition statements on legislation, and delivered them to the governor, and members of both houses.
Prior to becoming a member of the New Orleans community, Michelle spent a lot of her time volunteering for various organizations and causes, where she spent a considerable time fundraising and event planning.
