Nelle Noble is the Restorative Practices Manager in the Office of Human Resources & Institutional Equity. A double Tulane alum with a J.D. and a Master of Social Work, Nelle has over ten years of experience working in the fields of domestic violence and sexual assault policy, victim advocacy, crisis response, and grants and contracts management. In her spare time, Nelle loves to read, bake, try new restaurants, and explore the city’s best playgrounds with her husband and two sons, ages 5 and 3.
Wendy Firven Smith
Conflict Resolution Specialist

Wendy Firven Smith is a Conflict Resolution Specialist at Tulane University's Office of Institutional Equity. With over 8 years in higher education, including roles as an Adjunct Instructor and Career Counselor, Wendy holds a master’s in Community Counseling from Minnesota State University and a bachelor’s in Psychology from Southern University at New Orleans.
She is a State Certified Mediator with extensive experience, including mediating civilian/police complaints, training NOPD supervisors, and founding Resolve Mediation Group. Wendy is passionate about expanding restorative practices and looks forward to helping Tulane employees enhance communication, build relationships, and resolve conflicts.
