Labor Distribution

Labor Distribution ensures that an employee's costs are charged to the appropriate accounts and/or projects.

Labor Distribution is only used to allocate costs.  It is not used to adjust payroll or allocate FTE's.

Note:  Labor Distribution (LD) entries in HCM are for the current pay period and going forward.  When determining pay period, take into account the employees pay period (Bi-weekly or Monthly).  If the payroll for the current period has already been run, you will not be able to change the LD for the current period.

If LD adjustments are required for previous pay periods, or for the current period after the payroll has already been run, a Payroll Retro Only PAF form must be filled out and submitted.  This form can be found on the Office Human Resources website.
