Matt Wegmann

Dr. Matt Wegmann joined the Tulane community in June 2023 as an Alternative Resolution Specialist. Matt earned his Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of New Orleans, an M.S. in Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans, and a B.S. in Psychology from Spring Hill College. Before coming to Tulane, Matt worked as a school counselor at Holy Cross School in New Orleans, where he focused on building and restoring student relationships across the educational, emotional, and environmental spectrum. Utilizing his background in both counseling and educational processes, Matt’s primary goal is to help members of the Tulane community work through their conflicts while also equipping them with tools to assist others both within and outside of Tulane. With a focus on working with students, Matt’s office is located on the Uptown campus.
