This summer the Office of Human Resources partnered with YouthForce Nola to host five interns for their five week summer internship program. YouthForce Nola is an education, business and civic collaborative that prepares students for successful pursuit of high-wage, high-demand career pathways. The YouthForce Nola Internship Program is a paid internship that offers opportunities to students to participate in professionalism training and employee placement with partnered employers.
During their time at the university, the students gained experience in HR payroll and records management services. The interns were able immerse themselves in Tulane culture by learning other facets of the university such as student advising, brand communications and vendor operations (Sodexho).
