Kronos Workforce Ready (WFR)

As recently announced by the Office of the Chief Operating Officer, the upgrade of Tulane’s timekeeping system from an older, on-premise version of Kronos to their latest cloud application, Kronos Workforce Ready (WFR) is approved for campus-wide roll-out.

The WFR project will be implemented over two phases. In the first phase, we deliver much-needed improvements, as well as some exciting new features.  Due to disruptions caused by Hurricane Zeta, the implementation timeline has been updated.  We plan to go live on Friday, November 20, 2020.  Details of the second phase are being finalized and information on this will be communicated later.

What is changing

  • Employees will no longer need to complete paper time correction forms. Instead, correction requests can easily be submitted for approval online, or in the Kronos Mobile App.
  • Biweekly employees will use the new system to log their time every day via the web, a time clock, or the Kronos mobile app.
  • All employees who report time will use the new system to request and record vacation, sick, and other leave time each pay period.
  • Timekeepers will use the new system to review, edit, and approve all employee time and attendance information.

As we transition to WFR, we encourage you to share feedback and ask questions.
