Resource Fair 2023

September 28 & 29, 2023
9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The resource fair will highlight campus programs, initiatives, and services available to all employees.  This year’s fair will be a two-half-day virtual event and there will be opportunities for engagement within our virtual conference platform, Whova.

Exhibitors can promote their products, brands, or special promotions through the public bulletin board, in-app messages, raffles, or giveaways within Whova.

If you are interested in hosting a virtual booth, please fill out this form. You will receive an email with instructions on how to update your profile in the virtual platform. Please email us at lodhr@tulane.edu if you have any questions.

Resource Fair FAQ’s:

Will exhibitors be required to participate both days?

No, you will not be required to participate both days. However, participation on both days does ensure everyone does get an opportunity to hear about what you have to offer.

Is there an option to record my booth or presentations?

Yes, the app utilizes Zoom software application, who allows users to record a meeting to the Cloud, the video, audio, and chat text. The recorded files can be downloaded to a computer or streamed from a browser.

Do I have the ability to schedule breakout discussion groups or presentations during my time?

Yes, Whova uses the Zoom platform, which can host in real-time both presentations and chats. Unfortunately, our platforms do not have the capability to support breakout rooms in conjunction with resource fair sessions.

Does someone need to be monitoring my virtual booth all day?

While it would be best to have someone active all day to answer questions or chat with attendees, you can be present as much or as little as you'd like. You can set up your booth to be entirely self-run, or you can set specific times where you will be live (either on zoom or just active in the booth), or you can be "live" all day. Questions and comments can be accessed at any time, even after the event.

How can I share my materials with the attendees?

Materials and presentations may be shared with attendees via the Whova platform.

What technical support will I need to attend and host a virtual table?

A device that has accesses the internet (desktop, laptop, tablet, or smart phone), and a basic working knowledge of Zoom. Technical support will be available from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm both days.
