Project Overview
The Office of Human Resources will implement a restructured hiring process, which will feature enhanced recruitment services and improved system functionality. This is the result of a year-long project undertaken to review and reimagine the hiring process in support of our vision to attract and retain innovative, well-qualified and diverse employees.
Project Goals
- Create an increased culture of accountability related to HR processes.
- Modify iRecruitment so that it supports a centralized, recruiter model for managing openings and prescreening applicants.
- Minimize data entry and manual updates of vacancies and offers.
- Drive efficiency through automation wherever possible.
- Streamline and shorten the approval processes for vacancies and offers.
- Develop a job posting site that is user-friendly, searchable and consistent with Tulane branding.
Hiring Process Improvements
- Enhanced recruitment services to include candidates prescreened by recruiters.
- New user interface including dashboards and simplified forms.
- Fewer approval steps in faculty and staff hiring workflows.
- New careers website with enhanced search capability.
- Automated job postings on higheredjobs.com and insidehighered.com.
- Improved candidate experience while reducing time to hire.
