The sessions are open to all Tulane staff and faculty.
Sessions will be available through our virtual platform, Whova. You can register ahead of time and watch the sessions on October 1 & 2 through the app (web or mobile).
No. You will have to register to participate for the two-day event, but once you have done that you sign up for the sessions you would like to attend.
Given space limitations, registration will ensure we are able to accommodate as many employees as possible who would like to attend.
Whova is a third-party virtual platform that does not utilize the Tulane Single Sign-On function. You may use your Tulane password when creating an account.
To reset your Whova password, click on the "forgot your password?" option.
You can remove sessions from your agenda at any time. If you would like to cancel your registration for the entire event, you may email lodhr@tulane.edu.
Whova is supported on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Whova is not supported on Internet Explorer.
While all sessions will be hosted virtually, there is still a maximum number of participants for each. Please add sessions you want to attend to your agenda early. If you can no longer attend a session, please remove it from your agenda so others may have the opportunity to join.
No. Tracks make it easy for you to pinpoint the sessions most relevant to your needs. You can mix and match across tracks and attend any session you like.
This platform does not integrate with your Outlook calendar, so if you would like to add the sessions you register for to your calendar, you must do so manually. Otherwise, your app will display the sessions on your agenda and send you reminders when sessions are about to start if the feature is enabled.
Employees are encouraged to attend this University-sponsored event. Employees attending this event should gain supervisor approval prior to registering.
Supervisors, as is the case for any leave request, will make their decision based on their need to operate effectively and efficiently. If approval is granted, time away will be paid. Employees should clock in at the start of the workday and clock out at the end of the workday.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions so we can update our FAQs by emailing lodhr@tulane.edu.
