Professional Development Day is coming! We encourage all Tulane employees to participate in networking, career development and growth during this year’s event. A snapshot of the event is provided for you below:
What will PDD be like this year?
- PDD will be a one-day event on March 25th, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm with seven tracks to follow.
- All sessions are free and open to all Tulane staff and faculty members.
- Attendees may choose any session. Register as an attendee to mix and match across tracks - you are in the driver's seat with our Whova conference platform!
- All sessions will be delivered via Zoom, accessed through Whova.
- There will be a virtual Resource Fair running throughout the day.
- Session registration will be managed in Whova.
What's on the Agenda?
- Over 25 concurrent sessions and 7 key tracks to choose from.
How do you register for PDD? Registration is a two-step process.
Step 1: Register as an attendee. Select "1" from the drop-down menu. Select register. *Please use your tulane.edu email address to register. Click submit.
You should receive a confirmation email from Whova if you have successfully completed your registration.
Step 2: Create an account in Whova. The event will be accessed through our virtual conference platform, Whova. You have two choices for using Whova. You can download the mobile app or access the website to attend. Which one should you choose? Our recommendation is to use both! Both options allow you to create and manage your session agenda. The app has extra social features that make it easy to interact with other attendees.

- Visit https://whova.com/portal/webapp/profe_202110/
- Click the option: "Don't have an account? Sign up here"
- Enter the email you used to register (tulane.edu) and create a password.
- Click the "Sign Up" button
- Via your smartphone or tablet on the Whova Mobile App
- Download the app: https://whova.com/portal/profe_202110 or search "Whova" in your phone's app store.
- Open the app and select the "Sign Up / Sign In button"
- Enter the email address (tulane.edu) you registered with and click "Continue"
- Create a password and click "Continue"
