The Chinese Faculty and Staff Affinity Group is one of several campus wide affinity groups under the umbrella of the ALAAMEA Alliance.
Tulane's Association of Chinese Professors and Staff was established in 2021 with the following mission:
- to promote interactions among its members,
- to exchange ideas on how to thrive at Tulane University as well as how to excel as educators, researchers and community contributors,
- to serve as a support network upholding the best interests of its members,
- and to promote academic and cultural exchanges among scholars between US and China.
The Association is governed by an Executive committee consisting of a president, a president-elect, and secretary/treasurer, a communications officer, and representatives from each school and the Primate Center. Currently, Dr. YiPing Chen serves as president, and Dr. Tony Hu serves as president-elect, Dr. Shusheng Wang serves as secretary/treasurer, and Dr. Yu-Ping Wang serves as communications officer.
