How to report unsafe workplace conditions, accidents and injuries
It is the university’s goal to provide a safe and healthy environment for our Tulane community. This includes our students, faculty, staff, and visitors to all of our campuses. With this in mind, it is of the utmost importance to always report unsafe conditions as soon as they are noticed and to report accidents and incidents immediately. By doing so, we can correct the hazardous condition and ensure that our Tulane community is given the proper care and treatment should assistance be needed. In the event that a hazardous condition is found, please report conditions to the Office of Environmental Health and Safety at OEHS@tulane.edu as soon as possible.
Should anyone be involved in an accident, notify your supervisor and complete/submit a First Report of Injury immediately, no matter how small the incident may be.
In order to keep Tulane as safe as possible, we must strive to continuously improve our campus and ensure we are maintaining the prestigious reputation that we have built over the years.
We all play a hand and keeping Tulane held at the highest of standards. Together we will continue to provide the best environment for all Tulanians.
