Ruth Riley joined Tulane in 2008, she is the Assistant Vice President for Employee Resolution & Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) for the Office of Human Resources. In this role, she oversees the functions of Employee Relations, Employee Engagement and Equal Opportunity & Resolution Management.
She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resources Certification Institute and holds a Senior Certified Professional certification by the Society for Human Resources Management. She has 24 years of experience in Human Resources in telecommunications as well as higher education. Though specializing in Employee Relations and EEO, she is also well-versed in Recruitment, Compensation, and Benefits.
Her education includes a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans as well as a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In addition, Ruth is fully fluent in Spanish.
