Staffing Updates
Lauren Adams, Talent Acquisition Manager, oversees hiring for Faculty, Postdocs, Staff, and Student Employment.
Joe Williams has transitioned to the HR Compensation Team as a Compensation Analyst. Please join us in congratulating Joe on his new role!
Tara Robinson, Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter, is now handling all Faculty and Postdoc offers.
Diontrell Duperon has joined as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter and will support Staff hiring.
Tanzania (Taz) Champagne, Talent Acquisition Recruiter, continues to support departments with Staff hiring needs.
Madison Machen has joined as the new Human Resources Coordinator. She manages the Virtual I-9 process, volunteer applications, and Orientation communications.
Jessica Jackson, Senior Student Employment Coordinator, oversees all aspects of Student hiring, Student Hiring Manager Training, and the Community Tutor Program.
Maya Boyer, a recent Tulane graduate and former HR student employee, has joined full-time as a Student Employment Coordinator.

Reminders for Hiring
Alternative I-9 Document Review Process
Talent Acquisition has implemented a Virtual I-9 Process approved by USCIS, currently available for staff and faculty hires only. New hires will receive an email from TUCareers@tulane.edu with instructions to upload documents and schedule a virtual appointment. Note: This appointment must be completed before Orientation.
Orientation Deadlines
To ensure a smooth onboarding experience, background checks for staff hires must be cleared and start dates confirmed by 5:00 PM on Tuesday for that week’s Friday Orientation.

Recruiters are here to assist with:
Reviewing and evaluating applications
Conducting phone screens
Providing interview questions
Sourcing passive candidates
Developing advertisement strategies

Hiring Frost – Submitting New Vacancies
When submitting a vacancy (backfill or new), please include responses to the following questions in the vacancy notes or as an attached document:
How long has the position been vacant? Why does it need to be filled now?
What services will be impacted if the position remains unfilled?
List funding sources and percentage distributions, along with the anticipated salary.
