Medical Plan Dependent Verification Audit

In the coming weeks, employees who cover dependents in the medical plans will be asked to provide documents that validate the persons enrolled are their legal dependents and spouses. Tulane University is working with Alight Solutions, a dependent verification company, to assist in verifying dependents in the medical plan.

To prepare you for the next step in this process, locate marriage certificates, birth certificates or any other documents that you may need to verify your dependent(s). Alight will provide more details concerning the acceptable documents. We know this process may be an inconvenience, but ALL dependents and spouses covered by the medical plan will be documented for 2018 or coverage will be canceled.  Coverage of ineligible dependents increases costs for all of us; therefore, your cooperation in this process is greatly appreciated.
