Open Enrollment 2020: New Year. New Plans. New Choices.

This year's Open Enrollment period will be from October 14, 2019 - November 8, 2019. Open Enrollment is the time of the year for every benefits eligible employee to review benefits elections and make changes. Eligible employees will have the opportunity to enroll in benefits (if not already enrolled), make changes, and make updates to their personal information. All benefits elections and/or changes made during Open Enrollment will take effect on January 1, 2020.

This year’s open enrollment period is passive, meaning if you do not make any changes during this time, you will remain in same benefits you are enrolled in with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). You must re-enroll each plan year for both FSA plans.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana (BCBSLA) has been chosen as our new medical plan administrative services provider for 2020. 98% of the medical providers utilized by our employees will continue to be in-network.

We are introducing a new plan called the High Deductible Health Plan and some changes to existing plans for the year 2020. Salary bands for benefits premiums will be shifting. Rates will also decrease for dental and vision insurance. Before selecting your coverage for 2020, please take some time to visit our Open Enrollment page, review your 2020 rates, and attend an Informational Session or Benefits Fair where you can have questions answered by our benefits team and representatives from the attending benefits vendors.
