As announced by President Fitts, Tulane will adhere to Modified Phase One restrictions issued by the City of New Orleans to address the increasing number of COVID cases in the community. This phase calls for reduced capacity limits and gathering restrictions, beginning on Jan. 8, and is expected to last three weeks. Classes and university programs are exempted from these regulations.

In compliance with this phase, the university encourages all units to continue to find ways to allow employees to work from home as much as their assigned responsibilities allow. This arrangement should continue for the duration of this phase.
