Each year, colleges and universities from across the country join together to recognize their student employees’ contributions during National Student Employment Week from April 8 through 12. With over 3,000 students working here at Tulane, student employees are vital to our day to day operations and play a significant role in furthering our mission.
This week is an opportunity for staff and faculty to recognize the individual contributions their student employees make in their department. Join us in acknowledging all the hard work that’s done across the university.

- Decorate office doors and bulletin boards
- Hold a special gathering to honor them
- Bring snacks and/or take them to lunch
- Prepare "care packages" or "final survival kits"
