Student Employment Supervisor Training on Nov. 6 – 7
The Student Supervisor Seminars are open to staff and faculty who directly supervise student employees.
The seminar will define the role of a supervisor and provide tips and insights on how to better manage student workers. Topics covered:
- Student Employment Philosophy
- Orientation and Training
- Managing Performance
- Helping Students in Crisis
- Recognition and Appreciation
The seminars are held monthly on the uptown and downtown campus. The next seminars will take place:
- Uptown Campus: Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the LBC Race Conference Room, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
- Downtown Campus: Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Tidewater Building, Room 105, from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
