Nominations for Staff Advisory Council (SAC) representatives are being accepted through November 18. If you believe you would be a great fit as a SAC Representative or know someone who would be a highly motivated, active representative for your campus, please follow this link to the nomination form

Full announcement below, sent on Thursday, November 5 from SAC.

Dear Colleagues,

After a significant disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as Elections Coordinator for the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) I am now pleased to announce a call for nominations for SAC representatives, starting Wednesday, November 4th which will run through Wednesday, November 18th.

Our Staff Advisory Council is a staff-elected body of representatives from the three University campuses (composed of one representative per 100 staff), who work collaboratively to coordinate staff events and facilitate comments and suggestions to Administration. SAC Representatives represent staff on the University Senate and various subcommittees, offering perspectives on university-wide policies, budgets, future plans and proposals.

We are seeking replacement of SAC representatives rolling off from each of the three University campuses. A newly elected representative's term is held for a period up to three years. You can learn more about SAC here or you can email sac@tulane.edu with any questions or for additional information. We will hold an information about SAC at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11th. Register here for SAC Information Session on 11/11 at 11 a.m.

If you believe you would be a great fit as a SAC Representative or know someone who would be a highly motivated, active representative for your campus, please follow this link to the nomination form.

Once the SAC nomination period has ended on November 18th, all potential candidates will be contacted. Voting will occur in early December via an emailed ballot. Our new Staff Advisory Council members will be announced in January and posted on our webpage, accordingly.

On behalf of the Staff Advisory Council, thank you for your continued support and we look forward to a year full of finding new paths and opportunities for our hard-working staff!
