The sessions are open to all Tulane staff and faculty.
Joining sessions looks a little different than it has for past PDD events. Please note there are additional log in steps required this year to support our integration with Zoom Events:
- Log in to Whova
- Select the session you want to join in the Agenda section
- Select "Join the Stream" and use your SSO to log in to Tulane Zoom
- Select the session you want to view under Sessions!
You can view the step-by-step instructions with screenshots here. Please feel free to reach out to lodhr@tulane.edu or reach out to the organizers in the Whova community board with any questions.
No. You will have to register to participate in the event, but once you have done that, you sign up for only the sessions you would like to attend.
Given space limitations, registration will ensure we are able to accommodate as many employees as possible who would like to attend.
Whova is a third-party virtual platform that does not utilize the Tulane Single Sign-On function. You must set a password when you sign up for Whova.
To reset your Whova password, click on the "forgot your password?" option.
You can remove sessions from your agenda at any time. If you would like to cancel your registration for the entire event, you may email lodhr@tulane.edu.
Whova is supported on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
No. Tracks make it easy for you to pinpoint the sessions most relevant to your needs. You can mix and match across tracks and attend any session you like.
Yes! Whova allows the option to add sessions to your Google, Apple, or Outlook calendars. Your profile will also display the sessions on your agenda and send you reminders when sessions are about to start if the feature is enabled.
Yes! All sessions will be recorded and will be available for viewing after the event. Please allow two to three weeks for us to post recordings.
Employees are encouraged to attend this University-sponsored event. Employees attending this event should gain supervisor approval prior to registering.
Supervisors, as is the case for any leave request, will make their decision based on their need to operate effectively and efficiently. If approval is granted, time away will be paid. Employees should clock in at the start of the workday and clock out at the end of the workday.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions so we can update our FAQs by emailing lodhr@tulane.edu.
