UPDATED Event Details
On behalf of the Learning and Organizational Development (L&OD) Team, we regret to inform you that this year’s Professional Development Day (PDD) scheduled to take place October 28, 2021, has been postponed.
As our university recovers together from the impacts of Hurricane Ida, we have determined it best for all that our community-focused, volunteer-run event should be postponed. We hope this will afford everyone the time to care for their own needs and volunteer in support of others.
As for our updated PDD schedule, we are excited to announce our new Professional Development Day will be Friday, March 25, 2022.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you next spring. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the L&OD team, firstname.lastname@example.org
We are excited to announce that this year, Professional Development Day will be a hybrid event. All staff and faculty are invited to experience the day either in person or virtually on Friday, March 25, 2022.
The event will be composed of four main aspects:
- Sessions to develop your skills and knowledge
- Interactive fun activities to include Q&A, live polling, discussion boards, giveaways, and live chats
- Networking opportunities with colleagues from across the University
- A resource fair
Employees may join for any number of sessions or enjoy the full agenda.
We are currently seeking sponsors to support the event and facilitators to host engaging sessions.
Opportunities are also available to host a booth at the resource fair to promote your campus programs, services, and engage with faculty and staff.
If you are interested or have ideas for the event, please contact the Learning & Organizational Development team at email@example.com.
