Orientation Update:
The last staff new hire orientation for the 2024 calendar year will be held on Friday, December 6.
Also, please note that orientation will not be held on November 29 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
Recruitment activities may continue in the month of December, but start dates must be scheduled in January or beyond. This will accommodate a successful year-end transition for pay and benefits.
For future planning, and to provide a consistent onboarding schedule each year, the last orientation session of each calendar year will be the first Friday in December and will resume on the first working Friday of the new year.
The regular orientation schedule will resume on Friday, January 3, 2025.

Tulane's New Employee Orientation introduces you to the structure and culture of the University, highlights the rewards and opportunities you'll experience, and gives you a chance to meet other new colleagues. You will learn about our benefits and campus services and have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

New Employee Orientation Dates
New Employee Orientation is held EVERY Friday with the exception of a designated University holiday and the month of December.
Your recruiter will work with you to confirm a new hire’s start date and orientation date. Please contact them if you have any questions.

What to Bring

Logistics

- Orientation will be held in one of the classrooms on the ground level of the Reily Student Recreation Center
- You will be emailed a parking voucher the week of your orientation so you can park for free in the Diboll Garage
- Continental breakfast and lunch are provided
- Attire: Dressy Casual
